FAQ | Aubree Pediatrics & Aquatics

Question 1

How is Aubree different from a traditional swim school?

Accepted Answer

Aubree is designed to be more than a traditional swim school. We are creating an inclusive pediatric environment where children of varying abilities can Move. Grow. Thrive. Our model brings together adaptive swim instruction, warm-water aquatics, sensory experiences, enrichment programs and access to specialized pediatric spaces and equipment in one family-centered environment. Programs are designed to support children across a range of abilities, including children who may benefit from additional physical, developmental, sensory or adaptive support. Aubree also partners with licensed therapists, healthcare providers, schools and organizations that can independently use our specialized facility and equipment to serve their own patients and clients. This integrated model allows families to find recreation, development, enrichment and access to independent pediatric professionals within one thoughtfully designed environment—while maintaining a clear distinction between Aubree's non-clinical programs and clinical services independently provided by licensed healthcare professionals.

Question 2

Do you provide medical care or guarantee therapeutic outcomes?

Accepted Answer

Aubree offers adaptive swim instruction, sensory experiences and enrichment programs designed to support children of varying abilities. Aubree's adaptive swim and enrichment programs are non-clinical and do not constitute medical care or therapy, and participation does not guarantee a specific developmental, therapeutic or medical outcome. Aubree swim instructors specialize in swim instruction and/or adaptive swim instruction and are not acting as licensed healthcare professionals when providing Aubree swim programs. Aubree also makes its specialized facility, aquatic spaces and therapy equipment available to independent licensed therapists and healthcare professionals who may provide clinical pediatric services to their own patients. Any clinical services are provided independently by the applicable licensed professional and are separate from Aubree's adaptive swim and enrichment programs.

Question 3

Are Aubree team members trained and certified?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Training is a core part of the Aubree Care Model™ and our commitment to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for every child. Aubree team members complete structured onboarding and role-specific training before independently supporting children and families. Our training standards include pediatric aquatic safety, adaptive swim and special-needs support, sensory and neurodivergent considerations, adaptive equipment, de-escalation and low-stimulation techniques, family communication and emergency preparedness. Applicable aquatic team members are also required to maintain verified swim-instruction and safety credentials appropriate to their roles. Safety training includes infant, child and adult CPR/BLS, hands-on AED training and advanced pediatric first aid, including response to choking, seizures and injuries. Aquatic personnel receive additional training appropriate to their responsibilities, including water rescue, deep-water extraction and emergency stabilization procedures. At the center of this training is the Aubree Care Model™ — Connect. Assess. Engage. Empower. Our team is trained to build trust, understand each child's abilities and individual needs, create meaningful and supportive experiences, and help children and families build greater confidence and independence.

Question 4

What safety protocols will Aubree have in place?

Accepted Answer

Safety is central to the Aubree experience. Program-specific safety requirements will be communicated to families and providers before participation.
